Responsible for, ship planning; drawing new ships and setup the new services for lines at aict system; Providing a comprehensive ship planning and dispatching service which complies with the contractual and or professional planning standards agreed upon between the company and its customers; Progress of all required information from local agents and or the marine coordination centers for the shipping lines; Give particular attention to the efficient accommodation into the total operation of hazardous cargoes; Out of gauge cargoes or any non standard containers ensure they are planned in accordance with internationally published rules and standards for such cargoes, ensure planned sequences for load and discharge; At earliest opportunity agree bay plan with master bay plan and discuss such comparison with the vessels master or his representative, provide all reports tor s, tdr s, vors etc; at the earliest possible opportunity following the sailing of the vessel; as part of commitment towards the continued improvement in the standards of the planning services; actively review the positive and negative planning aspects of every vessel planned; Summaries all such learning points in files on each vessel calling aict in order to consolidate trend of continued improvement; actively work to accommodate all new work practices and technology, which become introduced onto the port; Maintain all knowledge of all relevant legislation and procedures regarding health and safety within the workplace and ensure that safe practices are not breached in planning process, using ctms container terminal managing system, ii yard planning; Responsible for ensuring that containers handled on trinity terminal are stacked and moved in a manner that fully supports the total cargo handling activity at trinity terminal and at other terminals for cross port moves, export using historical information; customer forecasts on the throughput and terminal information on cranes, stows etc; import using information given to terminal and requirements of vessel working programs, make space available to assist operations, transshipment take into account quantity of units, type of operation required, direct ship to ship, ship to ship within hours of each other; Maintain sufficient knowledge of hazardous explosive goods and substances and related legislation in order to be able to correctly allocate cargo within park space; Participate in training of self and others in order to continually improve the standard of customer service provided by the trinity park and control office, review the use of the terminals park space, and in particular historical data; with a view of accommodating changes in customer throughput; Ensure that all park blocks are kept in good order by housekeeping is performed through sufficient lesion with terminal superintendents; Ensure that a shipping list is completed everyday showing the berthing plan information and the blocks to be used for each load and discharge.
